Mild grandiosity next to high entitlement is a mismatch of currencies. One partner trades in attention and doesn’t notice favors; the other trades in favors and resents attention that isn’t repaid. Studies of entitlement in couples show it predicts conflict over fairness more than any other trait, and the grandiose partner’s obliviousness makes that worse.
