What makes a relationship toxic?
Researchers point to four patterns that predict harm better than the amount of arguing: control (monitoring, deciding for you), contempt (mockery, humiliation), volatility (unpredictable moods, fights that don’t end) and isolation (losing your own people). This scan scores each one from your answers.
Can a toxic relationship be fixed?
Often, when the readout is mild and both people are willing to look at specific behaviors. It is much harder when control and contempt are high, because those two patterns tend to escalate rather than fade. Improvement after you raise the issue is the real test.
Is my answer data stored?
