How this scan works
Four traits, 15 questions, one readout.
Every question feeds one of the trait meters. Your total across all of them sets the readout band, and when one trait clearly dominates it can tip the result on its own. The archetypes are plain-language summaries of trait combinations described in published personality research, not clinical labels.

Frequently asked
What is gaslighting, exactly?
Gaslighting is a repeated pattern of denying, rewriting or minimizing what you experienced until you stop trusting your own perception. The name comes from a 1938 play in which a husband dims the gas lights and insists to his wife that nothing has changed.
How is gaslighting different from a normal disagreement?
Honest people disagree about what happened and can eventually concede a point. Gaslighting is one-directional and never concedes: your version is always wrong, and the goal is your doubt rather than the truth of any single event.
